Notes

Its distinctive giant pincers are partially a result of mutation, but there are signs that it has been supplemented by the Breach Colony technology of the Vulgus. This can be considered evidence that this subject was an indigenous lifeform of Ingris that was absorbed into a Breach Colony.

However, the Steel Pincer specimen contained a degenerated form of the long digestive organ typical of herbivores, suggesting that the subject was once a herbivore.

Taken together, a conclusion can be drawn that this subject was mutated by Void Energy and additionally modified by Vulgus biotechnology to reach its current form.

What remains unknown, however, is the mechanism by which these beast-like creatures understand and follow Vulgus' commands.
