Biological Characteristics of Anomalous Creatures

As a scientist, curiosity does not make exceptions... including this delicious-tasting Axion meat, from the native organisms of this land. I am recording dissection notes on certain peculiar specimens that appear to have undergone biologically significant evolution.

First, even peculiar specimens still taste good. The surprising fact is that there are no predators of these specimens on this plain. Yet, this doesn't disrupt the ecosystem's balance. These creatures primarily consume byproducts from the soil and coastline. While the calories aren't exceptionally high, their ability to absorb nutrients is outstanding. Therefore, they must be prepared with extreme care. The moment you make a mistake, the foul odor of the byproducts permeates the meat.

Second, these peculiar specimens are far more sensitive to the Void than typical native organisms. They burn through stored energy at an extremely slow rate, but that rate suddenly accelerates when Void Energy is nearby. In other words, Axium is a threat to their survival as it rapidly starves them. Some miners say to find Axium, you must find places where these creatures don't roam... That seems like pretty good insight.
